Are you ever anxious and worried about your day-to-day needs?
I know that I experience that anxiety from time to time.
Children also sometimes become anxious and worried about their daily lives.
In Luke 12:22-31, Jesus tells his disciples not to worry about what they will eat or wear. After all, God feeds the ravens, and even the grass is clothed in magnificent lilies. Instead, we should seek the kingdom of God. When we do, he will care for our needs.
Your kids can make this fun diorama to help them remember that God cares for their needs!

Luke 12:27 | Do Not Be Anxious
As a family, read Luke 12:22-31 before you begin your craft.
Luke 12:27, ESV, says:
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Your child can copy the first phrase in the verse on the copywork verse label in the version of your choice. As you make your craft, discuss:
- What does Jesus tell his disciples in verse 22?
- Do you ever feel anxious?
- How does God care for the ravens?
- What does God clothe the grass with?
- God cares for the ravens and clothes the grass with spectacular lilies, and you are much more valuable to God.
- How does this help you trust God to care for your needs?
- What does Jesus tell you to seek instead of spending time worrying about your day-to-day needs?
Seek the kingdom of God, and he will care for all your needs!
