Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible
You want your kids to learn and love the Bible.
You want to teach the Bible...
As parents, we deeply desire the best for our kids. We look for the right schools, we make them eat right and exercise, and we get them involved in extracurricular activities. We take our job as parents seriously.
But are we also putting our time and energy into teaching them the Bible? Giving them the life-changing, soul-nourishing words of Scripture is not only doable, it’s an essential part of parenting kids for Jesus. And the good news is, studying God’s Word as a family doesn’t have to be difficult!
2 Timothy 2:15, ESV, says:
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
Our job, as parents who love Jesus, is to help our kids become approved workers, unashamed and rightly handling the word of truth.
The good news? Teaching the Bible isn’t hard. Your family can learn the Bible together.
...and you can!

I love this book, I love the practical principles it gives. I immediately started playing the Bible to my boys at bed time and now they ask for me to put it on. I am constantly going back to it.
I have a 7-year-old son, M, who along with his dad and I, learned that our youngest son, who was already called 'Little Buddy' by M, would be stillborn. M was only almost 4 at the time, but he knew what deceased meant. After that ordeal, and without knowing it, really, I quit mentioning God, didn't pick up my Bible. When I finally realized I was cheating Mason by checking out of all things Godly, I also realized that I had no idea where to start with telling M about God or how to answer questions I knew he would ask.
I looked at book after book and read a gazillion reviews, nothing seemed to 'speak' to me or about my situation. Then, I saw the book "Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible" in my feed on Facebook and when I read the description, I couldn't buy it fast enough!
This little book has seen some tears flow because, while it was intended to help a little boy know God, it helped his momma REMEMBER God. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this book. It's beautifully written, Mrs. Cooley explains everything that could need explaining clearly and in an easy-to-understand way. You won't read it once and put it on a shelf either. You will refer to it repeatedly when the conversations and Bible discussions start.
I would encourage anyone to get this book. With all the awful things that are taking place in this country, turn off the news and turn on your child's heart. Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible is like that needed conversation with a much wiser mentor.
This has been such a thought provocation! It is such a great read That challenges me to stop and think how it would work for our children, how to implement it in our family, which will look slightly different to your family…. This book and the awesome author has challenged us as we have begun to get Bible reading on track as a mostly daily habit in our family…8-15 year olds! Thankyou!!!
Loved reading this book! She explains step by step how to add Bible time into your child's life and how to deal with difficult Scripture passages. We've started implementing her tips and have seen great results in our 4 year old.
