Before beginning your bookmark craft, read Psalm 119:11 as a family. In the ESV, it says:

I have stored up your word in my heart,     that I might not sin against you.

  • A squirrel stores nuts in special places during the summer so they will have plenty to eat in the winter. That's why we use the saying "squirrel away" to say that someone is storing up for the future a little at a time.

Bit Hit!

This was cute and simple to complete. It was a hit at our women's district conference. Since we did not have a long length of time, I will help of some of the other women cut out the pieces first. I put the colored template pieces on colored cardstock and the white pieces on white card stock. the nose and cheeks were cut out of the white and then colored by hand before adding to our bookmark. This is great for all ages.
